Shooting…
Not with my Weihrauch HW100, but with my camera. I’ve really gotten back into my photography lately and with the Canon 6D MkII it’s making the enjoyment increase 10 fold.
However, with the current Covid-19 lockdown still in place, it is making going out and finding a good place to experiment with the camera a hard task. So I’ve turned to “brushing up” my skills with some post production in Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop. I’m not a big fan of subscriptions, paying for something I won’t own. I had version 6 of Lightroom which works perfectly fine except it doesn’t work on my Macbook Pro. Therefore, I had no option than subscribe to an Adobe Plan.
I’ve always liked Lightroom and I’m not to bad with it either! However, I’ve not used Photoshop much and so I thought I’d try doing a course or two. This I did, passing a few Udemy courses but now I’ve gone away from Adobe due to the expense. Because I’m only an Amateur and don’t get paid for my work, I’ve switched to Darktable and Gimp as both are free and are as powerful as Adode’s offerings.
